Sticker Haven

White Deprivation to Colorful Hope

In this project, audience members are invited into an all white space and allowed to stickerbomb the walls, floor, and objects inside.  This installation explores child-life defiance, the calm coming from repetition, and how a space can evolve through participation.

Project Proposal

Understanding "White Deprivation to Colorful Hope"

In order to explain my idea for "Sticker Haven," I developed a proposal that explained the entire process including research, inspiration photos, and a visual palette for my project partners.  If you look closely, you may notice that the idea of "white deprivation to colorful hope" moves through each slide.

Playtests

Finding glitches and discovering the nuances within Sticker Haven

Over the course of development, Sticker Haven went through several iterations that allowed me to discover what worked, where things would go wrong, and what needed additional attention to detail.  These playtests assisted in the creation of a functional world, making the performance and audience participation easy and fun!
